Newcomers Welcome

You are entering the website for the New Hampshire Association of Special Education Administrators, Inc. We are a non-profit corporation based in Concord, New Hampshire, providing services to about 190 members.

Most of our members are directors, assistant directors or coordinators of special education in public and private schools in New Hampshire. A small number of our members are independent consultants, individual practitioners, parent advocates, or vendors. We meet monthly in Concord (our state capitol), with a combination of a business meeting, lunch and a program of one or two guest presenters.

Our Association has been in existence for over 30 years, with a voluntary Board of Directors and Officers. With funding from the NH Department of Education from 2003 through June of 2007, we opened an office on Loudon Road in Concord, and we had a full-time paid Executive Director, similar in duties to the Executive Directors of the NH Association of School Principals and the NH School Administrators' Association. We are NOW located at 25 Triangle Park Drive in Concord, NH. Our Executive Director is 60% full-time, and we have a full-time Administrative Assistant.

We welcome inquiries about our activities, which include training programs for new directors, discussions about special education policy and practice, and helping to direct schools and individuals to resources for improving the quality of services to children with disabilities.
